I-600a

We sent our I-600a form to USCIS today! This is our advanced petition for approval of adopting an orphan. Once we finish our home study that will be sent to USCIS, they’ll send us our fingerprint appointments (yes, we have to get them done again!), then we will get approval! After our approval everything will be sent to Japan & we’ll be officially waiting for our referral! ๐Ÿ™‚

We also had our physicals this morning. We are getting a lot of things done today. ๐Ÿ™‚

So, right now we are working on our adoption education & our home study. We only have to have 2 visits this time! Our first home study visit is on November 16.

We are thankful for even the small steps in this process. ๐Ÿ™‚
